Tourist organization of the municipality of Backa Palanka at the stand of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, it was presented to the visitors the second international fair in Banja Luka in the period from 08-10. 04.2022. years.
Visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the facilities offered by the municipality of Backa Palanka as part of the tourist destination of Vojvodina with an emphasis on gastronomy and active vacation. In accordance with this year's slogan of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina (Vojvodina-dynamic), a comprehensive tourist offer of the municipality of Bačka Palanka was presented at the stand. As the TO of Vojvodina especially promoted the manifestation Tour de Fruška, whose holding is planned for the period from May 20 to 22, 2022 in Vrdnik.
Bačka Palanka LLP also promoted the cycling route that passes through our municipality Euro velo 6.
The citizens of Banja Luka had the opportunity to enjoy a virtual journey through cycling, which attracted a lot of attention from visitors. At the stand of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, the tourist offer was also presented by the tourist organizations of Vrsac, Sombor, Backa Palanka, Nova Crnja, Kikinda. The stand of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina was visited by the acting Assistant for Tourism and Regional Economic Cooperation Milan Jaric, Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia Marija Labovic, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Stasa Kosarac and Minister of Trade and Tourism of RS Suzana Gasic.
During the three days of presenting the tourist offer of Vojvodina, great interest of visitors and media for tourist products of Vojvodina was noticed, and numerous business meetings with tourist agencies from the Republic of Srpska were also realized.
After signing the agreement on joint appearance on international markets, the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina and the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska expanded their cooperation by signing an agreement on joint participation in cross-border cooperation projects between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this way, the two destinations will be connected in terms of the development of active tourism and all the advantages it provides. The agreement is 08.04.2022. signed by the director of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, Dr. Natasa Pavlovic, and the director of the Tourist Organization of the Republic of Srpska, Miodrag Loncarevic.
The promotion of the gastronomic offer of Vojvodina and Backa Palanka as an integral part was held on April 8, 2022. year in the restaurant Stara Ada in Banja Luka, where the present media held a presentation of the Vojvodina Lunch campaign and the announcement of "Cooking Schools - Vojvodina Lunch".
After the presentation of the new tourist product that will unite the cooking school and visit the tourist destinations in Vojvodina, the attendees got acquainted with the exclusive edition of the chef Vojvodina Lunch and enjoyed the tastes of Vojvodina cuisine prepared on the spot by representatives of the Culinary Federation of Serbia. On the same day, the Vojvodina Evening was organized for the representatives of the tourist economy of the Republic of Srpska.
