On Saturday (June 18), Bačka Palanka will host young guardians of tradition as part of the 14th International Children's Folklore Festival, which is called "Oh, I want to play a round".
Organized by CTKU "Kosta Abrašević", and under the auspices of the Municipality of Bačka Palanka, this festival will present young folklorists from Malić, students of ŠOMO Stevan Hristić from Bačka Palanka, as well as local guardians of folklore traditions KUD "Mladost" from Bač, CTK "Nebojša Nedimović from Tovarišev , and Bačke Palanka.
The ceremonial parade of the participants will take place on June 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the center of Bačka Palanka, in front of the Municipality building, and the concert in the hall of the "Vojvodina" City Cinema is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
"Our cultural mission is to bring children together, learn and respect diversity so that they can appreciate their own in the best way, knowing with pride where they came from and where their life path leads them, not forgetting their roots," emphasized CTKU "Kosta Abrašević".
